Civil Rights Pioneer Rosa Parks, 92, Dies - Yahoo! News
Nearly 50 years ago, Rosa Parks made a simple decision that sparked a revolution. When a white man demanded she give up her seat on a Montgomery, Ala., bus, the then 42-year-old seamstress said no.
It is always a sad day when someone that started so many changes dies. She had a large role in awakening many peoples eyes to the discrimination that was going on legally in this country. The US is a better place because of her, and I hope, that in her final days she was able to look at this country and realized that we have became a better place over the last 50 years.
Thank you Rosa.
