Lanes...Lanes....Lanes....
This will be just a quick update. Looks like I'm going to see Shooter tonight. RG is going, so that should be fun. I'm excited...I've wanted to see him since I first listened to his album, 'Put the 'O' Back in Country'. Yesterday was an ok, nothing spectacular but ok. I'll do an official update tonight when I get back, but I just want to touch on one little thing....lanes on the roads.

Those of you that know me, know that I'm a happy and jovial person...but I turn into Mr. Hyde when I drive. Driving is my downfall...I hate to drive and hate other drivers. Ever since I've moved to the city it has only gotten worse. I think that it is safe to say that the average driver in Indianapolis would fail a comprehensive driving exam...probably upwards of 70% of all the drivers. The current thing that has been driving me crazy is lanes.

In some parts of the country the police agencies vehemently enforce the fact that you drive in the right, pass in the left. Basically, get the heck over! Well, when I was down in Florida the past March there were signs up all over stating that fact. Also, on the interstates, and other divided highways cars would flash their lights at you to get over. Well, I've taken that back over with me here.

Yes, I'm now a light flasher. Not all the times, but if you are in the left lane, and not passing the car to your right, then you best get over. If I can't find a way around your slow and inattentive ass, then I'm flashing you. Thus far, in my newfound flashiness, it has been pretty successful. Cars seem to get over. It's like they suddenly tune out of their cell phone conversation and remember how to drive. Ugg...Cell phones, that's a hole different ball game...I'll touch that later. Just remember, drive right, pass left!
