Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Turkey Day everyone! Hopefully everyone finds themselves in the company of family, friends and good food today! I'll be headed up north in a couple hours (well, NLT 6 or 7). I'm up way later that I had planned, but heck, we can't get everything perfect!Amanda and I went to another movie at Hollywood Bar and Filmworks tonight. That is like our 3rd movie in 4 days or something like that! Amanda actually saw RENT today, so she is one up on me! The movie we watched today was "Derailed". It was ok, nothing stunning but it wasn't too bad. I've seen a lot worse, but I've seen a lot better. It was pretty much that kind of movie. L and J met us there, and I was hoping to get drinks afterwards, but Amanda was pretty tired so we came home.
When we got home I messed around on the computer and tried to play some computer games, but eventually I just gave up. My video card is a piece of crap and it's messing up when I go to play games. No matter what I do to it I just can't get the darn thing to work right. I've tried so many different drivers, but it is just barely livable. I'm about ready to buy a new one soon. I wonder if there is an Black Friday sales on video cards, it might be worth the line and the cold to get a good deal on one. That was the nice thing about working retail on Black Friday...we always managed to stash the good stuff for ourselves, or have one employee buy a bunch of crap for everyone else. So, just so everyone knows...that's part of the reason why you can't get what you want! Unfortunately, they didn't pay much, so you couldn't buy much!
After giving up on the computer I watched LOST and Prison Break. Both episodes were great! If you don't watch both of those you don't know what you are missing! They are great shows...definitely pick up DVD's of LOST, and Prison Break (when it's available). Now it's pretty late, and I'm tired. I plan on being up by 7am, so I should get to bed!
4 day weekend here I come baby!
2 quick questions...
First, what's everyone think of my new picture?
Second, is my font too small? Anyone want me to use a larger font? I don't usually read my site once I post it, but looking at today it looks like the font is pretty small. Let me know!
