Motor City here I come

I'm off in a few minutes and just wanted to post since I promised that I would. It's not like the world would stop turning if *gasp* didn't post, but hey, we can think that it would have. I'm about ready to head off on my little solo road trip...just downloading the maps now into my GPS Navigator. My hotel is booked, it's about 10 minutes or so from where my class is at.

I'm still not sure when I'm headed back. Depending what SR is doing, I may stay with him tomorrow night and head back Thursday morning. I may also just head back after the class is over tomorrow. It gets over with about 5pm, so that puts me back in Fishers around 10pm or so. The only hard time that I have to make is a conference call Thursday at 1pm. We'll see what happens!

Maybe I'll go to Canada while I'm there...never been to Canada before...we'll see. Hell, maybe I'll go to the casino and lose my paycheck (just kidding). Speaking of casinos, I really hate them...they always take my money. The casinos should really give me the red carpet treatment when I walk in since I'm nearly guaranteed to lose money and give lots back to the house. I just have the worst gambling luck.

I'm going to be missing a training meeting for the Army tonight, I'm kind of disappointed, I've really been enjoying myself at these meetings...even if we haven't gotten paid for them yet!

Anyone else check out that Ludwig kid from PA and his little girly friends Xanga and Myspace sites? Yeah, the modern day murdering duo. Heaven help that I ever do anything in the news...people love to hammer the posts with useless comments. Amanda, if I am ever in the news please delete this thing! We all know that I believe this is my front porch and that I'll put my boot in someone's ass for treading on it the wrong way, but if I'm not here to do the bootage, I'd just assume lock it all away.

Amanda is almost done with her last rotation before her long break! I think that she is starting to get really excited. It's nice for a couple reasons, but mainly because Caden (our little doggie) will be happy. It's going to be the perfect time to finish his housebreaking and stop the occasional accident. He has been getting better, but he still has problems. He is still a little puppy though, like 3 1/2 months old or so. He is so cute! Everyone loves him. I can't get the little SOB to fetch for anything. He can sit and lay down though, so he is not totally stupid.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Yesterday Amanda and I met with a pastor for a church. Amanda went to church there two weeks ago and liked it, and the guy wanted to meet with us. Everything seemed ok, nothing was really strange. I'll be going there Sunday to get my feelers out for the place and determine whether it is someplace where we'll keep frequenting.

Ok, my map is downloaded and it's time to hit the road. I might stop and pick up a power cord for my iPod, but we'll see. I'm set baby...GPS navigation, iPod, Sirius radio, and an audio book. My hotel has WIFI, so I may post there, but we'll see!
